Daddy's cousins (my second cousins??), Jess and Gordie, came up from London for a visit this weekend. They arrived on Friday night, just as I was going to bed. I showed them what a good baby I was, and slept through until 4:30am! Mummy was very happy because she got some more sleep! On Saturday night I was good up until 2:20am, and then I just wanted feeding or cuddles on and off every 1 or 2 hours ... Mummy wasn't so happy then!! I got lots of cuddles from Jess, but I was a little scared of Gordie - I pulled funny faces and cried when he held me. Perhaps it was because he spoke in a funny Scottish accent? Anyway, it was nice to have them come up and visit Mummy and Daddy!
Today is a bank holiday, so Daddy is home - hoorah! He went shopping and got a bit excited in Mothercare!! He bought me some bathtime toys and my first dress! He bought a suit as well, but it a bit small, so he has told Mummy she has to exchange it for a bigger size (he doesn't like doing that sort of stuff). Mummy decided to put all the toys in the bath, and she could squirt me and do all funny sorts of things with them! Really though, Daddy thought just a couple would be enough!
I am going through a growth spurt at the moment, and I am hungry, hungry! Mummy is having a day at home just to feed me up well and good! Daddy went out tonight to get her some DVD to watch while she is feeding me. Sounds like a tought day all round!
Daddy has taken tomorrow off as well, and Mummy and I are both looking forward to having him around!
