They came over to the house early, and Nanna gave me her final bath (for a while only anyway). I think she likes bathtime! Mum was trying to get some tips from her ...
Grandpa finished off a few things in the garden - a new rhubarb plant went in and a flower which Mum can't spell (the special one that you get for Mother's Day). The lawns are in tip top condition and look like a bowling green! And all the edges have been straightened, and Grandpa even finished off the brick border ... that Mum started 18 months ago! Hoorah! Hopefully Mum and Dad can keep it in some sort of order, otherwise they'll just have to get Grandpa over again to touch it all up.
It was a beautiful day, and so we all decided to go to Walton Hall. Mum tried taking Nanna there on her last visit, but the rain was so heavy that they couldn't get out of the car. This time however, no such problems, but the coffee shop was shut! So instead we did a short walk around the grounds, Mum showed her "Englishness" and walked around in a short sleeve top. It wasn't really that warm - well, not to Grandpa and Nanna anyway. Lunch ended up at the local pub, and we all sat outside to enjoy the sun.
Finally we had to go home, and let Grandpa and Nanna drive down to Heathrow for tomorrow's flight. We will all miss them (and their help)!
